3. What Happens After We Receive a DMCA Notice

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice:

  • We will review the claim and remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content.
  • We may notify the user or author responsible for the content.
  • If applicable, the user may submit a counter-notification if they believe the content was wrongly removed.

4. Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was removed due to a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to us. Your counter-notice must include:

  • Your name, address, and telephone number.
  • The URL of the material that was removed.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the content was removed in error.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district, or if outside the U.S., that you consent to jurisdiction in any district in which the website may be found.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

We may restore the removed content if we receive a valid counter-notification, unless the original complainant files a court action against you within 10–14 business days.

5. Repeat Infringers

Users who are found to repeatedly infringe copyright may have their access to the website permanently terminated.
